Elite Airtight Coating
The Elite Airtight Coating is designed to be used in areas where the walls will be left exposed as a finish coat or alternatively used as a parge coat. The coating is white (RAL 9016) in colour but can be over-coated using our Elite Matt water-based finish in any RAL or BS colour. Elite Airtight is designed to be applied by large volume airless spray machines. The Airtight test was carried out on the worst case scenario standard cellular blocks which leaked air in excess of 80m3/h.m2 prior to being coated with Elite Airtight. After coating with the Elite Airtight the air leakage was recorded at less than 0.36m3/h.m2
To achieve an airtight finish equivalent to the test you will use 1 litre of Elite Airtight coating to coat 1.5m2 of block wall. (3m2 per litre per coat)

Where we have stated the permeability is too low to detect we can qualify this comment with the
following statement:
Where the air permeability is less than 0.36m3/h/m2, no exact value can be obtained due to the resolution of the instrument. This represents very low levels of air leakage and an Air Permeability no greater than 0.36m3/h/m2.
