Airstop Pro-Parge

Airstop Pro-Parge is the only coating system designed to be applied within buildings that are not completely dry. Airstop Pro-Parge is fully cured within 48 hours of application. This enables other trades to be programmed into the building schedule far earlier than usual and could save many man hours which have been lost simply waiting for areas to dry.

Due to its ability to cure when exposed to moisture Airstop Pro-Parge can be applied to damp surfaces in damp areas after just 36 hours of substrate drying time, regardless of the degree of moisture held within the substrate. The moisture in the substrate actually assists in the curing process of the coating system.

Airstop Pro-Parge contains hydrophobic components that protect buildings against moisture absorption, while not interfering with the overall drying process of the substrate. This unique system means that moisture held within the substrate can escape while no additional moisture can enter the substrate. Following trades (Dry-Liners) can start work on the substrate within 48 hours. Airstop Pro-Parge is compatible with all standard dot & dab adhesives.

The savings by specifying Airstop Pro-Parge will continue throughout the lifetime of the building. By reducing air leakage through the blockwork you will improve the carbon footprint of your build and reduce energy consumption. Your completion dates will be more achievable as you won’t be held up waiting for areas to dry out.

The effectiveness of Airstop Pro-Parge can’t be underestimated have a look at this video of the leakage of blockwork during an airtight leakage test and then again after Airstop Pro-Parge was applied to the substrate. After Application of Airstop Pro-Parge there was absolutely zero leakage of air through the block. If you are serious about reducing air leakage or you are having problems reaching targets on current projects Airstop Pro-Parge is the only solution

APPENDIX TO 109848AT REPORT ON BLOCKWORK AIR PERMEABILITY FOR

PRISTINE ELITE AIRTIGHT COATING 21.03.11

Where we have stated the permeability is too low to detect we can qualify this comment with the

following statement:

Where the air permeability is less than 0.36m3/h/m2, no exact value can be obtained due to the resolution of the instrument. This represents very low levels of air leakage and an Air Permeability no greater than 0.36m3/h/m2.

The Professionals Choice:

BREEAM - Excellent rated Environment & Sustainability Institute - Cornwall (See article in Construction News)

Primary School - Kidderminster achieved air leakage rate of less than 2.5m3/sq.m./hr

Hamilton International Offices - Carbon Neutral building - Scotland

£30 million new build Shotts Prison - Lanarkshire, Scotland
